Common questions about WAVE.
What is WAVE?
WAVE is a music social network where you can rate albums, follow other listeners, and see what people you care about are into. It is currently in early access.
How do I sign up?
You sign up with an email address and password. No third-party account is required to get started.
Does WAVE connect to Spotify?
WAVE supports Spotify integration for eligible accounts. If your account has Spotify access enabled, you can connect it from Settings.
What can I do on WAVE right now?
You can create a profile, rate and review albums, follow other users, and browse the discover feed to see what others are listening to and rating.
How is my data stored and secured?
Your account data and ratings are stored in our Supabase database, which uses row-level security so users can only access their own records. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Settings and scroll to the Delete Account section. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Tap the three-dot menu on any post or rating and select "Report." You can also block users from the same menu. Our team reviews all reports.
Is WAVE free?
Yes. WAVE is completely free and always will be. There are no premium tiers, no paid features, and no plans to change that.
